We don't come here to discuss techniques for running a website. You and a few others bring up the subject so often that Stanford was compelled to create this "Suggestion Box" just to get your traffic off the main highway and onto the side streets where it belongs. The good news is that serious handicappers can now avoid your distractions completely by staying the heck away from the Suggestion Box. So, it appears that management is NOT unresponsive to ongoing problems and they're capable of coming up with creative solutions to those problems.

For the life of me, I don't understand why you don't direct your complaints directly to the people who control the boards (via e-mail, snail-mail or telephone) and leave us out of it. If they seem unresponsive to your viewpoint, vote with your feet and hit the road. I can only assume that your continued venting in the public forums is done to satisfy a thirst for attention. I can find no other justification for it.

You seem to post the same complaints week after week. If this site has value to you, use it. If it doesn't, move on. You urge "taking control" of the site, and then you gripe when some of your posts are deleted. You can't have it both ways. It sounds like you're saying "take control of the site exactly the way I would do it". That ain't gonna happen. And why should it?

With all of your great ideas, I'm amazed that you haven't created your own website by now. It's sure to be just boffo!

I think we're all just tired of your whining. Either make a positive contribution....or don't. It's up to you, not us. It's not up to Stanford or David, either. Frankly, I'm surprised they tolerate you at all. I wouldn't.
