Focus isn't lost because of flashing banners, at least not in IE 6 on XP, Mozilla on Linux, and Opera on XP.

Logs are kept to track substantial changes that are made to the posting software's programming code. The code hasn't changed much in the last few months. The logs include timestamps; the same timestamps are in the programming code that comprises the forum software. Documentation is key. However, not every single little change is documented. For example, today I changed the CanBet banner.

We do want to fix this problem. We are still trying to recreate the problem on our end. Remember a couple months ago when the forum software would "forget" your username and password? We had the problem diagnosed and fixed after we were able to duplicate the problem on our end. Without being able to see a problem in action, firsthand, it's difficult to make changes that would solve the problem. Have you ever taken your car to a mechanic, only to have the squeaking noise stop once you get there?
