I'm still experiencing the problem

The problem still exists for me. Every bleachers message I read creates a blank cookie. Since my browser will remember only 20 cookies from SSB, the blank cookie forces a legitimate cookie to disappear. I can make all 20 legitimate cookies disappear by reading 20 consecutive messages on one bleachers page, such as the General Forum.
