If Stanford's objective for SSB is to maximize revenue as a legitimate site rather than one that caters solely to squares (and thus directly competes with the scammers), I imagine he feels that significant progress has been made since the site's inception and will continue to do so.

I remain loyal to SSB because he continues to show a willingless to listen to criticism (even anonymous), and remains unwavering in his unwillingess to damage the site's reputation with the use of marketing "ploys" (note few ads!). I think it's "as good as it gets" when it comes to the audience SSB has attracted and the discussions that follow. I'm sure Stanford sees "profit" in more than just absolute subscriptions.

I'm sure the same ideals helped found BJ21 which has proven to be a great success from a resource as well as financial standpoint!
