Chris: Banner ads not appearing

I noticed that the "BoDog" banner appears frequently under posts, but there's another banner which never seems to load. It seems to be a 50/50 proposition, so I assume there's some sort of randomizer being used, or a list of banner ads the server goes through. I'm aware that the problem may originate at the ad-provider's end.

Obviously, I couldn't care less if I ever see another banner-ad, but I thought I'd mention it just for the sake of Stanford's bottom-line, and because I'm wondering if the banner-ad problem could conceivably be related to the "cookies" problem discussed elsewhere. (I never had the cookies problem, myself).

Also, would it help if the people having the problem provided you with the version of the browser/OS software they're using? FWIW, I'm using Windows XP Pro and IE6.0 (and again, I'm not having problems).
