What is your screen resolution set at?

If you're using Windows, you can go to the control panel, double click on the display icon, go to "settings", and you should be able to see your screen resolution. It will be something like 800x600, 640x480, 1024x768, etc.
I am guessing your resolution is set at 640x480 or 800x600.
