Tabs: adding big chops max length of table entry from 7 to 6

With pre as currently configured, tabs work correctly as long as each entry in a table is seven characters or less. If you add "big" to make the pre characters the same size as the text around the pre, the maximum number of characters per table entry is only six -- a seventh character results in the next table entry being displayed one column to the right of where you want it.

Since there is a benefit from the way pre works now, I'm willing to leave it as is.
