as his team competes in Nationwide 1 and he seems to follow the natiowide leagues. I am of the opinion that if you try to beat the house in soccer you better stick to 3-4 leagues max. Since it is difficult to beat it anyway, betting on too many leagues becomes too much and this is why I avoid it.

That for my view might look a square one: I think West Ham should still be the fav for promotion. However don't rush to take them. Some hours ago Paolo di Canio signed for Charlton. He is a big public figure in England and will affect the odds I think. If you want to lay them perhaps it is too late, the best number is 5.60 in Betfair but for no big amount,I guess that as people will be learning about Di Canio,it might settle at around 6.2. If you want to lay them at 6 though,give them to me, I would take them at 6(well actually I will wait till tomorrow)!

About the players: Obviously if Defoe leaves too they have little chance to go up,and close to no chance to finish 1st. I also don't like James very much but still for the first division he might be ok. Di Canio is a good player and could do the difference in Division 1,where the lack of quality players is so big that it made 40 years old Prosinecki or 60 years old Paul Merson look like Gods. However, di Canio was way too public (as I have explained in the past, Italians are the foreigners most likely to be loved by English fans-actually not to be loved but to be dubbed 'class') and chances are it will improve the odds we get for them more than it will reduce their chances. I don't know how much cash this team lacks to be honest and much more I don't know the league to be able to say which team can be proven the Fullham or Charlton or Man City of the past (if any). Since I don't know some team to be very strong I think 6 for West Ham is good,5.5 or even 5 is ok (if you get it tomorrow or something) but wouldn't bet my money right now. I am sure Uk will have more to say here,sorry I can't help much.
