Latvia to qualify for Euro 2004 +162.5 Hills

Turkey have lots of problems off the pitch and I believe Latvia are overpriced to take advantage of this.

Turkey lost the first leg 1-0 away in Latvia - complaining about the hotel, the weather, the ground, everything! While Latvia were receiving the applause of the crowd the Turkish players were having a bust-up with officials in the Tunnel. They now face the (slight) possibility of not being allowed to play in the finals even if qualifying.

This can obviously all work for or against Turkey. However, even if they come out onto the pitch determined to win, every minute that passes at 0-0 has got to eat away at their confidence. Dont forget they needed to beat England to qualify automatically but only managed a 0-0 draw a month ago. Its very much a case of deja-vú for the Turks and I think it could well be the same result.

The fact that Latvia didnt concede a goal at home means Turkey cant push forward at all costs. To justify a price of about -175 you have to consider Turkey 2 goal favourites. I dont think they are anywhere near that. Latvia have already won away in Sweden and Poland in this qualification campaign and I think the bookmakers have been slow to spot a rapidly improving team.

Taking into account the first leg score I would price this a pk.
