just in case I have not been clear enough in the past, I am repeating it again to the board (well the few that read these posts): It is a wonder how come uk isn't much more up in units than what he is now. IMO he has been very unlucky. Give me -110 that he is going to do better than me from now on till the rest of the season (I think we are at about the same now) and I would be all over it.
That being said I certainly don't know much about his methodology or his character (how easy he would pass etc) or amount of work he puts in picks or whether he is a pro etc, otherwise I would be betting the farm on his picks, now I am betting like half my unit.
I would not suggest to bet anybody's picks if he isn't a pro and this is why I wouldn't suggest betting mine (or uk's if he isn't either). The frustartion of losing following someone who isn't a pro could offset the possible money won if he does well. But if you have no problems with such issues you should consider him. I am looking at the 2 picks he discussed and my Boro pick again and again and am laughing at how much luck is involved in this and how truly misleading the results can sometimes be. Would I make this Boro bets again? Yes, I would in such odds still, however the 2 (Southgate and Ehiogu) missing, I still would like the spot enough. But in no way can I accept this was any better than either of the 2 picks he discussed (one draw, one 2-0 loss). Uk, this summer I won't be as lazy (and won't have any dissertations to finish hopefully) and I am looking forward to discussing Nationwides with you. Keep up the good work.
