The above post is maybe a bit too defensive and lacking in humility. My lifetime record at handicapping is good, at least if you subtract all the 10% tax we used to have to pay in Britain, but not exceptional or completely statistically significant. In defending my pick I may have given the impression I'm the cat's whiskers, which I'm not, and my picks are best used as verification of the judgement of others, if at all.
