It is the 3rd or 4th time in last days that I don't know whether to smile or cry: My beloved Newcastle United was kicked out of the CL, yet I got the money. To be honest the only result I could both win the bet and for them to advance was a 0-1 win of Partizan and Toon to advance in overtime or penalty shootout. We lost in 7th penalty! I hate to say it but Sir Bobby fucked up bigtime. No, her majesty's knight didn't f*** up bigtime,he FUCKED UP. I still love Bobby and will always do and I still hope he stays with the team till 150 years old, but putting Aaron Hughes to shoot a penalty when Lauren Robert is yet to shoot is beyond me. He substitutes one sure taker (Solano) in 2nd overtime. The other good penalty taker is Shearer (missed). The third is Robert. Simple as that. Woodgate and Dyer bullshit. Bullshit. But Aaron Hughes?? Give me a break will you? Aaron Hughes is from Northern Ireland, in terms of technical skill this is the worst country in the world,even considering the population. The average American is a better player in terms of skill (not knowledge of the game) than the average Irish. However, Aaron Hughes deserved to shoot one as he broke the record in his country for most skillful player. He is the first irish to record 4 kickups (2 people tied with 3). I am no Laurren Robert,nor Diego Marantona but I think I can do a couple hundreds easily. Some guy in Brazil can hold the ball for 4 hours in the air. Aaron Hughes can hold it for 2.61 seconds (another record for Northern Ireland). Note: I am always talking Best aside.
So,anyway I won 9 units there.
then we have this Manure match and I am saying to myself (getting greedy) 'we both gave it all last Saturday, we both underperformed today, why are they the ones that beat Wolves 1-0 and get the points and we are the ones knocked out of the CL?'. Well because they have those winners (Roy Cunt, the dork from Cork, Ryan Giggs etc). Why couldn't I at least win it all with a draw (greedy b******)?Perhaps it is better this way though. Losing 1-0. Because at least this gave me the satisfaction that I eventually saw a pick of mine going really my way: Man U was soooo easily held below the 2.25 goals win and the match was so easily held below the 3.25 crazy number, although they scored in only the 10th minute. That was sweet. I also must say that I am kind of lucky today in the units won still, as I did bet the draw and the +.5 line again today (posted it) but were no picks.So in the manure game: 2-1 +1.18 units
total today 3-1 +10.18 and I turn somewhat positive (which I haven't proven to deserve so far to say the truth) with YTD: 7-14 +1.03 units
