Ive been thinking about something. Fezzik just posted how much he LOVES this WarEmblem NOT to win triple crown bet. And- i agree with him. That being said-- I always get very, very scared when something seems too good to be true (remember the ulcers we all had- with a minute or two left in the Super Bowl?????-- No OT- please god-- no OT!)-- and it gets me thinking.

Charismatic- when he won the Derby- came back and was at what odds in the Preakness? War Emblem- is a seemingly one-dimensional horse- who won't be 'allowed' to win the triple-crown-- and look at HIS odds.

Is this the underlay of the century on his odds to win the Preakness--
or is this horse better then we're giving him credit for? Or is the three year old crop- amazingly weak this year?

I know Charismatic was basically a claiming horse- but is it possible this horse (WE) has something extra we're missing? StevieY seems to think thats possible- in his analysis of the Derby-- and prediction for the Preakness. There hasn't been a triple crown winner in how long-- and again-- we're talking about a seemingly one-dimensional horse- who won't be 'allowed' to win the triple-crown.........

I see why Fez thinks this has incredible value @ -1000. But why is it that low? Even the casual horse player (which i consider myself to be) can recognize the value in this one.

I know someone on here- who says- show me something thats too good to be true- and Im gonna make a lot of money :)...........
But this one scares me. Maybe it shouldn't. But it does.
