I am tempted to run an auction not on ebay, but via email, I'd be happier if the book went to one of you guys.

This is what I'm thinking : Any interested buyers can simply send me their max buy amount. The highest bidder will get the book at that price that he bid, whether it be $0.01 above the 2nd guy or $100 above the 2nd guy. With a caveat that the minimum that I will accept any bids is $30, and with a commitment from at least 4 people who will give bids of at least $30. If I don't get at least 4, then it will feel to me that I missed out by not putting it on ebay. I pay for shipping.

So, if I get a response from 4 people that are willing to bid given this criteria, then I will run it. If not, I'll think about whether to put it out on ebay or not. Just email me at ricksterricardo@hotmail.com if you are interested (don't give me a bid price, just let me know if you are intersted...once I get 4, I'll run it).

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to "run" the auction, so just email me so I don't get in trouble with anyone.

If I get at leats 4 interested parties by Saturday morning, then I'll run it, with the auction ending Sunday night.
