let me get this straight

So you are basically saying that a higher percentage of the money will be bet on horses that you didn't pick, so when you win, you'll win more during the weekend than if you had won during the weekday. But when Joe Public wins, he's getting less on the weekend than when he gets during the weekday? Is that basically it? If that is what you are saying, that makes sense. Originally I had thought you were saying that every winner would get paid more during the weekend, even when Joe Public's horse wins, he'd get to cash in more.
