Importance of dicipline in poiker

Everyone knows you have to be diciplined when playing in your typical hold'em game. After a long string of bad cards... anything can start to look good and you have to be carful.

The other type of dicipline has to do with managing your money. Anyone else ever have the problem in poker of quitting a losing session? I think I could increase my winrate if I didn't sometime jump up to a slightly higher limit game/ or play heads up matches in an attempt to "gain some back" after a losing session.

My example was after 3 winning nights in a row, I was playing good and feeling great. Last night I lost two HUGE pots and then went on to have a string of cards where I was sitting around and folding for along time. Seeing my winning dwindle with just those 2 huge hands, I was having a hard time coping with this losing night.

Anyone ever have problems with going on tilt like this or trying to "force" a winning session too often? Any tips on how to deal /improve this?
