I was talking about the website "lowlimitholdem.com" as per the question raised by Stingray in the first post.

Thier starting hands are far looser than I would recommend to a starting player.

The website recommends playing Qxs and Kxs in late position which includes hands such as Q2s and K2s.
These are the kind of hands that can get the new player in a lot of trouble when they cant get away from top pair no kicker even against a passive line up.
All poker hands are obviously in context but in the context of a player like stingray who is just starting out he would be better to ignore the advice and go for a tighter starting requirement such as Lee Jones or S&M.
