Maybe you can clarify:

"with hands such as Q3s and K2s will the new player call all the way with nothing more than top pair?"

Sure they will- but im not sure which point this addresses in my post.

"A player who has little experience would be far better playing tight while gaining that experience."

I dont disagree with this- but again- im not sure how this REFUTES what they're telling him to do.

"I think the game has to be almost perfect to play all the hands they recommend."

I have no idea what hands they reccommend or not. Ive never read that book. I was simply responding to your post- RE: pre-flop raising- regardless of hand.

Maybe you can give me some insight as to what kind of hands they're talking about- and we can discuss this further.
