In Response To: When to enter a pot (Stingray)

If you are more selective with hands and play those such as KQ while others play Q5 and K6 you will have a big edge when the flop comes Q or K high.
They will have to catch 2 pair or some strange draws while you will have to catch nothing.
Sometimes they will suck out on you but it will never make up for all the money you win while they call you all the way with a bad kicker.
I would stick with the hands in "winning low limit holdem" by Lee Jones.
You won`t get into too much trouble while you are learning with those hands.
The website lowlimitholdem recommends hands that the inexperienced player could lose money with.
A good player against a bad field can make money from most of those hands.
Don`t run before you can walk, play tight while you are learning.
