"luck factor"

I never said skill wasn`t a factor, just that its a small factor.

As I already highlighted, hard to find another "sport" where a newbie has the chance to win it all on his/her first try!

The reason why a lot of the "names" keep winning tournaments is more to do with the fact that only a small pool of players play "all" the major tournaments.
Those regulars are mostly made up of retired/successful business people and backed "pros"
Lets be honest here if you were so great and skillful and held a big edge over the field why would you want somebody to back you when you could make more money putting up the money yourself?
