Well- a cash game refers to any of those- but i mainly refer to the games in the casinos. But most home games- between friends- are also cash games. As far as getting into 'private' games- you simply have to know someone who plays in the game- or the person that runs it.

"2) You differentiate between cash games and tournament games but what about online games? PartyPoker.com was advertised on the WPT last night and the recent champion at Binion's started with a $40 stake in an online tournament."

"online games" can be either tournaments or cash games.
Most online sites offer both.

"3) In the tournament games, how does one find the qualifying tournaments with low entry fees in which victory leads up to the bigger tourneys that have the $5,000 and $10,000 entry fees?"

Most all of the online poker sites have low limit tourneys you can try. If you want a list of the B&M (Brick and Mortar- i.e. live casino, NOT online) casinos- i believe that cardplayer.com has a pretty nice listing- or in the back of cardplayer magazine.
