You have to figure the strong chance that I would check behind him, plus that chance that i wouldn't not call the check raise, easily points to a bet which I would call everytime.

You either get a almost sure thing call, or if you check i will probably check behind you and if i did bet... I would be stupid because only a better hand would have called since the river card paired... he either had a set which is now a full house or a flush (which i did'nt think he had) either case i think against a good player this is a definite bet on the river for him.
