head up hand, me and Tekari

Playing on party poker, I find myself at the same table as Tekari (he followed me there; I am the BIG attraction ;-) ). After a few minutes the others sit out and we are head up. I am the small blind, he is big blind and dealer (the software screws up when there are others present, but sitting out).

flop: 6c 5c 4c

turn: 9h

river: 6h

I think we both played it reasonably and I got lucky on the river. Although with 19 outs, it was almost pickem at the turn. A few questions:
Should I check the river, looking for a check raise? But maybe he has the ace flush and will raise a direct bet?
Should he flat call the flop looking to raise the turn? Easy on a non-club, but what then if the turn brings a club?
I like the pre-flop call; I was raising about half the hands. Any thoughts on that?
