Two must have books

I am new to sportsbetting, but when it comes to mid-limit poker that is my bread and butter.

Two must have books are:

1. Texas Hold'em for Advanced Players By David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth

2. Poker Theory by David Skalansky

These are regarded by most as the top 2 books out there.

You will probably want to start out in low limits (like our poker night sundays) something like .5/1 or 1/2 just to practice. A good book i recommend to start is Winning Low Limit Hold'em by Lee Jones. Lee Jones does a great job of giving you a simple logical plan to follow to beat low limit poker. That is probably a good first step followed by the 2 books mentioned above. You will probably have to read and re-read many times before the concepts become second nature to you.
