MT you don't know what your talking about

ParadisePoker for example, the larges online cardroom has a extensive anti-collusion system in place. It is in their best interest to try and prevent collusion so that they don't have a reputation of having cheaters. This can cause great harm to a site, and is the reason some people only play on the larger sites with good integrity and the equipment to monitor these things. I was playing in a local 5-10 game that my local bookie runs, and two people were telling me that their accounts were both frozen by paradisepoker for playing in the same game. They live about 10 minutes from each other and sometimes played in the same game and chatted etc. ParadisePoker has a process they go through and this included freezing their funds and looking at different things to decide what to do. In this case their money was eventually returned but they were booted off paradise. As a computer science major, I know the power of databases today allow cardrooms to run all kinds or queries checking for people playing too often together for too long, checking for people re-raising each other when one has the nuts, IP range scanning, and also they can even check if someone is coming from an IP that is from a public proxy (meaning it's not from their isp). You have never played online and I don't think you would know about any procedures sites have in place to prevent collusion. I agree with you that not all sites care, but the larger ones that make more money do have these things in place and I know of people who have had their money confiscated and gone through procedings for being "red-flaged" for doing such things. I feel that places like paradisepoker, although they don't have the loosest games, offer pretty good collusion protection.
