very few exact parallels can be made bewteen the same levels online v. B&M.

I think thats part of the problem you run into online- and why so many people complain. Ive heard people who think they're getting cheated because they lose 15k lets say playing 20-40 online. Of course- they're playing shorthanded, playing two games at once, and getting in excess of 150 hands per game.

It FEELS wrong to them- because they couldnt possibly lose that much playing live.

As far as toughness of games? Its hard to say. Ive played almost every conceivable level online. Remember- at most places- that have higher limit games- most of the rooms have deposit limits (with the exception of WSEX). So- the 'crazy' play you see at the higher limits- typically isnt simply guys going off (although that certainly happens). Most of these players are winners- playing very fast. And the games that may look real good- typically arent cause the only way you get enough money into your account to play at those levels consistently- is through winning- not through depositing.

Interestingly enough- WSEX died out- cause there just wasnt enough dead money at the higher levels.

My point here is- while i agree with your conclusions about people not protecting their money online- as opposed to B&M- i would be very careful about looking at the highest level games (like the 20-40 hold em games at paradise for example)- and just because there 'appears' to be a ton of action- thinking that the games are easy.
