im a better ring game than shorthanded player. especially at holdem. the best shorthanded holdem players have exceptional instincts. its hard to overcome that being technically sound.

i have a close friend who is a famous name in poker(much more famous than D :), who plays VERY high limits and has several wsop braceletes. he'll play probably 80% + hands 4 handed. and every hand heads up. sklansky and malmouth(who i highly recommend to anyone that wants to learn poker seriously) would say that is too high. but he reads people so well, that he can get away with it. most top shorthanded players are somewhat like this, although to a lesser extent.
