Boxing

I haven't seen hardly a post regarding the sweet science. Now
with the Palms hanging out all sorts of numbers on fisticuffs
the big boys on the strip totally ignore, I think I'll clog
the airwaves with boxing prognostications(pls.correct any
spelling errors). For openers, Mayweather vs Castillo.
This one violates my basic rule of 3; if the fav. is more
than 3-1 I stay away UNLESS the puppy has a shot. This one is
a tough call. Floyd is FAST. Castillo hits hard. They say speed
kills. I won't lay the wood and hate betting chalk if it can be
avoided, but pretty boy has the edge here. There are some others
that lines may show up for; Johnston-Gonzalez; Calzaghe-Brewer;
Bredahl-Moya. Still investigating. I went with Oquendo over Tua.
Fres got lazy and the pork chop chopped away. Such is life.
But I'm 3-1 at the Palms so far. As far as Lewis -Tyson so
far I feel under 6 full rds. and Lewis is a bargain @-220.
Mikey Prozac I last heard was up to 284 lbs. He must be hanging
out at the Surf buffet with Butterbean. If Lennox comes ready
the psycho loses, probably by disqual. Be back later in the week.

Boxing is like a red headed step-child in many respects. (nt) -- frank s. -- 17 Apr 02, 12:06 am
