In Response To: Value of 1/2 point in NHL Totals- (Alex Calvert)

A random NHL game ends with a total score of 5 about 18% of the time. Thus, the value difference between getting, say, 5u or 5.5u is 9%. So, a game lined at 5u -120 could also be lined at 5.5u +118 (or thereabouts), since the difference between the two wagers is 9%-- or 'half' of a tie.
