I assume everybody betting hockey is somewhat sharp. A case can be made in examples of the Blues last night at the Red Wings. ESPN hockey night with a HUGE public following of the Wings as far as public following goes in hockey. You could make a case that the line closed in favor of those wanting or betting the Blues late. Maybe! I got the Blues +1/2 +170 but I considered that to be a rogue line bet earlier in the day, it is possible many places closed at +170 but I never bothered to check.

Other than 1 or 2 games a week I completely agree with your lack of pubic following argument.
