boo is absolutely correct. we went back to every game with good data, and confirmed the negative subset. also, since you have not played hockey, please keep in mind that nhl teams vary a great deal over a single season, with multiple trades and a well developed minor system. given this flux in rosters, any focus on long term results is misleading. we specifically looked at the information content of 20 week vs. 50 week stats and the shorter term dominated the results.
