I have no doubt a method like this would work well in football and basketball, but I believe and I could be wrong (alot more people on here know more about this than I do) but the sharp to square ratio in MLB and NHL is orders of magnitude higher than the other 2 sports. Just going on money wagered in my opinion does not show if a pick is square or not.
