I agree with most things you say but

In Response To: Week 1: NY Giants - 1.5 (Howard Kelly)

wanted to ask you about the whether/time of season the match is played. I only watch the NFL for like 3 years or something but have the impression that some teams do better in the beginning of the season and some do worse. OK, Miami sure comes to mind or on the opposite side GB. But for some reason I also think that NYG are also one of those teams that play better later in the year. Also, I know you will point out to the poor beginning of the rams last year,but I would think that this will make them tougher in the beginning of this year,as they now know that they'd better start good or they can lose the playoffs race,they know they aren't untouchable anymore.

So,although I agree that Rams could be overrated and that NYG are possibly a better team (I wouldn't say 2 wins better,but anyway) I am wondering whether the timing of their head-to-head favours the Rams somewhat??? Also I am of the opinion that having lost the previous year in their opening match at home can only add to some bad psychology for the fans and players,although I can't quantify the bad influence of such a fact,if any. Any thoughts?
