offensive line

I don't consider your comments attack...I love this kind of thing.

As for the offensive line, you said : "As to improvement, they signed 2 offensive linemen in free agency and drafted 3 more. So how can you say that they don't have an injection from the draft to improve in any area? Again, this offensive system takes awhile to learn; so even if they didn't have a lot of new talent
(which they do) the Oline would improve simply by virtue of having been in the 2nd year of the new system. "

I don't know much about the 2 OLs that they signed in free agency. Maybe they'll be adequate, maybe they'll be better than what they had last year. As for the kids they drafted, those were high round drafts, which are not as surethings as 1st rounder and 2nd rounders. Yes, I know there are 1st rounders that suck, and 6th rounders that become All-Pros, but in the NFL, for the most part any non-QB 1st round pick becomes a solid starter...and it is difficult for 4th and higher round picks to sniff the starting lineup. A simple look at the roster on the All-Pro team shows mostly 1st rounders (at least the last time I looked).

Again, quantity does not mean quality. I think they have alot of backs that are equally average or below-average. I think they have added a bunch of OL in the draft that are either average or below average, otherwise they would've been 1st / 2nd rounders.

I agree they should be better with another year of the system under their belt, and I agree that they looked and played alot better in the playoffs. I still think their running game is their weakness and below average, even if they gel with Gruden.
