Season Win Totals - One Man's Opinion

NY JETS - U 8.5

I wasn't prepared (or asleep) in early June when U 9.5 was relatively cheap. But I don't mind getting some nice wood at a lower total.

1) Washington raided their roster taking their best receiver - Coles, KR Morton, G Thomas & K Hall. DL Evans is suspended & pass catching FB Anderson went to Dallas. They added inferior replacements in G Notten & WR Conway. No way is their talent as good.
2) They are in a tough division with all rivals improved.
3) They play a tough schedule.

Downside: Pennington is starter for whole year & Edwards is 2 for 2 getting them in playoffs.

SEATTLE O 7.5

1) They came on last season as Hassleback finally delivers.
2) Thay didn't lose anybody & added DL Hand, DL Okeafor & MLB Godrey on defense. - Also OT Thompson on line.
3) Walrus is now just coach & he has to deliver. His buddy, Rhodes should help improve D.
4) Their schedule is easy & I see SF sliding.

I see the stars, moon & sun aligning perfectly for this team. They are also my longshot team in futures.

Downside: It was easy to play well in 2nd half when there was no pressure & laying wood on this wager.

TENNESSEE U 9.5

1) They didn't add anyone & lost DL Thorton, DL Ford & MLB Godfrey. Godfrey leaving has caused bad feelings on team.
2) I love the heart of this team, McNair & George. The whole team jelled perfectly last year - overachieved. George is sliding. I think the delicate balance has been altered.
3) JAX should be improved in their division.

They should not be as good as last years squad - that takes 1 game off the 11 they won. I'm banking on intangibles to drop them further plus getting a little wood on the bet.

DOWNSIDE: Fisher holds them together & gets 100% effort again.

SAN FRANCISCO U 9.5

1) Maricuchi out, Erickson in = -1 game.
2) Lost DL's Stubblefield & Okeafor & didn't add anyone = -1 game.
3) I know they wrapped up division early but they dropped their last 10 ATS = flat performance, overrated & not a lot to build on. Garcia looks like he slipped not withstanding the last 20 minutes of Giants game.
4) Seattle is rising & St Louis should rebound somewhat in their division.

DOWNSIDE: Laying wood on this one & passing game holds up.
