Miami Dolphins: Going to win the SB this year.

I like the Dolphins. I like them ALOT.

During 2002, the Dolphins went a mediocre 9-7, and missed the playoffs. They were one of the greatest disappointments of the year, and the perception was that they collapsed down the stretch.

The truth is that this was a solid team in 2002 that should have won the division. They scored 23.6 points per game, gave up only 18.8. They outgained their opponents by .5 yards per play. They did all this, despite having a complete stiff Ray Lucas come in and basically ruin their season, taking over for a 5-1 dominating team, and playing absolutely terrible. By the time Fiedler was back to save the day, it was almost too late. The Dolphins rallied to get to 9-5, but then lost two "coinflip" games on the road vs. a Viking team that was coming on, and @ NE in cold weather where they were up 11 late, and found a way to lose.

In 2003, we have almost everything we would want.

21 of 22 starters back.
A servicable back-up qb Griese has been signed.
A dominating running game.
A decent passing game.
A very good defense.
A motivated decent coach on the hot seat.
A very motivated team that grows weary of being told it cannot win a big game.
A starting qb that is something like 25-10 as a starter since he came into the league, with a passing rating that keeps improving each year.
A 2-4 2002 division record, payback to Buffalo on the agenda.
