Dennis Erickson - your thoughts?

How will this guy do? Its been reported that he was not successful at SEA, but I think in his 3 or 4 years there, he was close to .500, which isn't that bad. He seems to have a killer instinct, he doesn't care about the feelings of the other coaches. This was a huge criticism on Mariucci, especially by Terrell Owens.

I think this may be a pretty decent hire given the talent level and the current status of the team. Mooch seems like a good teacher, educator, and got them from cap hell to a contender...but the perception (by the papers at least) is that he doesn't have what it takes to take that extra step. Maybe Erickson has that, he can take the team over that final bridge. What are your thoughts?
