Seattle Seahawks

I'll try to get the ball rolling on the team previews. I'm not the guy to give the preview on any NFL team, I'm not an expert by a longshot. But I'll give my opinions anyway.
I think the Seahawks may be pretty good this year with a shot at making the playoffs.
reasons :
1. Taking a look at their last 6 games last year, it seems pretty impressive. They beat KC 39-32 at home, lost at SF and vs PHI by a TD each, won in OT at ATL and at SD and beat STL soundly 30-10.2. They scored 39, 24, 20, 30, 30, 31 in their last 6 games. Maybe Holmgren finally has this offense clicking and has his QB Hasselbeck at the form that he was hoping for. Their skill position players all seem to be pretty solid, if not very good.
3. They got Ray Rhodes as the D-Coordinator, which will probably improve their defense. The only question I have is : is Ray Rhodes really any good anymore? He's been bounced around all over the place as the Defensive Coordinator. Why did he leave Denver? I don't recall the Bronco defense doing anything exciting, sounds like he may simply have lost it. If so, then that's definitely a concern. Too bad they don't play KC this year, that would be a fun game to watch.
All in all, this team could do something special. They play a 3rd place schedule (thanks to STL remarkable 2H comeback in Game 16 vs SF last year), which means they play NO and WAS whereas STL plays ATL and NYG and SF plays TB and PHI. Although there are fewer differences in schedules (only 2 matchups are accordoing to the place the team finishes, all other matchups are the same for all teams in the division, there are no longer any 5th place schedules to help boost a team from nowhere into contention), I think that's a definite plus for SEA, not as much of a bonus as in previous years, but still a small bonus.
I think the bet is to bet them to win the division rather than betting them to go over in wins. The reason is because I think if Rhodes can get this defense going strong, this team should be on the same level as STL and SF with a better schedule. However if the reason that Rhodes is no longer at DEN is because Rhodes has lost it, then SEA's got no shot with a porous defense.
