Portland Against the Spread

Maurice Cheeks, the coach of the Trailblazers, has indicated in newspapers that he plans on playing his starters more than normal in the preseason to find a rotation that satisfies him. In the first pre-season game the Blazers beat the spread easily. I am suspecting with that kind of philosophy that in this second game Portland might also prove to be a good pick against the spread. The game is not in Portland, but in Eugene, Oregon. Sacramento has little to prove or test in the preseason. The last time I looked Portland was a 1 1/2 point favorite at 5 Dimes.
