Arizona in playoffs

Randy Johnson is one of the worst postseason pitchers in history. I don't believe in "choking" or anything like that; but I do believe that he runs out of gas in October, and that pennant-winning teams tend to have managers who aren't afraid to put a weird lineup of all right-handed hitters up against Johnson, whereupon he looks very beatable. See the Mets v. Diamondbacks in 1999 or the Orioles v. Seattle series. (And he got outpitched in the 1998 Astros series, no?)

I really like the Astros v. Diamondbacks, but that could be a childhood bias. Still, this season, the Astros have hit 5 HR and scored 11 runs off of Schilling in 16 innings; Randy Johnson blew two leads (including one to a Julio Lugo home run) before winning a 3-2 game back on the 4th of July. And Houston is 3-0 against the other Diamondback starters. And that was all before Houston went on their hot streak.

Side note: I don't see the Braves able to "turn it on" -- they have absolutely no offense, and one isn't going to magically appear. In a short series, a lot can happen, and they have the starting pitching to win three coin tosses, but I have to think that the market overvalues their chances.
