Any NL thoughts?

The NL is a crazy place right now. Houston and Arizona are looking pretty solid, and I think the Braves will still get by the Phillies in the end.

The wild card? I have no idea. My best guess is the Cubs, simply to spite me since they are the one WC contender I _don't_ have a future bet on.

Assume Arizona is a lock to get in. How tough will they be to beat in the playoffs when you need to take at least one game off Johnson or Schilling to win? Many books have Arizona lined at +250 or even lower to win the NL. This must be low, but what _would_ be a fair price? I was contemplating taking +350 on Zona a few days ago, but waited too long and it's long gone. Would that have been a fair price?

How do you handicap a DBacks-Astros NLCS?

Most books still have a ridiculously low line on the Braves, +300 or lower to win the pennant, considering that they aren't even the second-best team in the NL. Assuming the Braves limp in to the playoffs, will they be able to suddenly turn it on like last year's Yankees?
