Avoid faltering teams since

In Response To: Are faltering teams bad bets at any odds? (James)

Books rarely increase odds upwards appreciably on slumping teams; they just hold the odds. So teams, say 1-4 the last 5, usually have the same odds as 5 games ago. A tough go to find any value there.
