I think I was on the right side of both my bets; Cleveland +240 and Oakland +125. Don't have much to show for it, though. My first season capping baseball (in the late 80's I bet a lot of baseball with my uncle; we won a lot of money, but they were mostly his picks), and it's been expensive. I sure hoped I've learned something!

I have both dogs in the upcoming series: Atlanta +127, New York +125. I know Atlanta isn't what they used to be, and their offense is terrible, but at least Chipper seems to relish the spotlight. I think Arizona's offensive shortcomings have caught up with them. And Bautista and Lopez will get at least two starts between them.

Maybe the play is any Johnson or Schilling starts under? Naw, too easy. Every square in the world has got to be thinking that!
