Would be a good proxy but...

In Response To: How about frequency of extra innings? (nt) (Colin Caster)

...the 4-4s, 5-5s and 6-6s would be mixed up with the 1-1s, 2-2s, 3-3s, 7-7s etc so there would be a fair bit of noise to work through. Better to get the disaggregated data ie scores at end of 9 innings. I am sure its out there, but like all these things its a matter of how much time you have to put into this (it took me many hours to pull down all of the lines and totals data from covers.com and parse it).

Anything you or other contributors may have in a useable form readily at hand would be greatly appreciated.
