If you like getting 3%/month interest on the Yankees, perhaps 5%/month on the A's to win the AL Wild Card (1-20) would be a better investment.

Or a bit riskier, the Indians at 1-12 to win the AL Central. I'm still annoyed at myself for not loading up at 1-4 a few weeks ago. The Indians might as well have an 8.5 game lead in their division-- it looks like the Twins will finish in third place and may not even be a .500 team by the end of the season. Apparently I should have hocked my Twins futures on WSEX at the break, although I doubt even Colin (pessimistic about Twins all season) would have predicted their total meltdown of the past two months.
