They had never heard of Danny Sheridan before I pointed out his operation in Alabama to them. I wrote to Mort, called him, and convinced him to do the expose. They acknowledged me in the first of two issues of The Gold Sheet, in which they did their story, and the rest is history.

The problem is, this was probably before you were born!
