I agree that more data are required. Unfortunately, gathering data on prediction accuracy means waiting for more games to be predicted and then played.

I will post my own picks on my private NFL page as soon as I have them firmed up, which ought to be on Wednesdays or Thursdays. I'll also post them on the free Football Forum page on Sunday before the games start, so that anyone who wants to can track my picks without having to pay to do the tracking. If the time ever comes when you decide you would rather have those picks a few days early so that you have time to bet on them yourself, you can sign up to do so.

Right now the price of my private NFL page is $49 for the season. I set that price figuring that based on my 2000 NFL performance, there is no market for my 2001 NFL picks. I'm hoping a few people will be willing to pay $49 for the right to join in on the discussions on my NFL page for the season, even if they totally ignore my picks. Thus I see the membership fee as being $49 for the discussions and $0 for the picks. If my NFL picks start to do well, then I will be able to charge for future picks instead of giving them away for free.

As for Dan Gordon's picks, I'm hoping he also makes them available to be tracked for free, even if they become available too late for us to bet on them ourselves. The competitor inside me wants very much to be able to compare my picks to Dan's on a week-to-week basis. I'd love to finish the NFL season with a higher percentage of winners than Dan does.
