I did lose money betting on the NFL last year. However, my aggregate lifetime sports-betting win is approaching six figures.

Hmmm-so when you started making all your picks available you stopped winning? Is that accidental? Did you always bet before releasing your picks?

Don Schlesinger says Dan Gordon has gone 269-202 against the spread over the past five years. Don Schlesinger is as honest as they come.

I am sure he is honest, but that is "only" a one in a thousand shot. It would be impressive if Schlesinger had never monitored any either service, but undoubtedly he has done so at least to some limited extent, so some correction to the Gordon sample must be made due to sample bias.
The same sort of thinking has led to many people coming up with betting systems for blackjack, craps, roulette etc. Indeed, I saw a crapshooter roll the dice for an hour last night, which is roughly a one in four thousand shot. He claimed to be using telekinesis, but I am sceptical...
