What makes Stanford Wong an authority on football wagering? I hear he lost big time last year.

Read Sharp Sports Betting and decide for yourself whether I know anything about football wagering.

I did lose money betting on the NFL last year. However, my aggregate lifetime sports-betting win is approaching six figures. I expect to win on the NFL this year. I have won money every week of the NFL preseason this year, meaning the games of 4-20 August 2001.

And, where can one find an independent third party documentation of Dan Gordon’s alleged record? Does it exist? Thank you.

Don Schlesinger says Dan Gordon has gone 269-202 against the spread over the past five years. Don Schlesinger is as honest as they come. Don also admits that the 269-202 is against the spreads reported by Gordon, and that Gordon sometimes gets to bet against spreads better than anyone in Las Vegas can find. The game-by-game record of those 471 bets is not available anywhere on the Internet as far as I know, so we are not able to figure out how well Gordon would have done against neutral spreads. My best guess is he would have gone about 54% over the past five years against neutral spreads, but I have no backup for that number.
