Your advice is good. I always to it unless I am in a hurry and usually use the spellchecker as well. Some respondents seem to think I am accusing Gordon of publishing a pick and then betting on the opposing team. I NEVER said he did that. I simply said it was a POSSIBILITY. I also covered the case where he was ethical and bet his own picks. Because of the public nature of his picks by publishing them if his record was that good he would have developed a large following and we would have heard of him by now. What was the motivation for going public? It also does not appear to be a coincidence that he became famous here AFTER a decision was made to publish the book. The sports betting advice market is full of charlatans and we have a right to be skeptical especially with no guarantees that cost the pick seller money if his picks lose and an unverifiable record. Don says he is great, has monitored his picks for 4 years, says he has maintained his 57% win rate, but he still hasn't started betting; and he wants US to not only start betting but buy his book and high priced pick service.
As for the other post, that is what it says. I always like to read fine print on things where the large print makes extravagant claims. The disclaimers are usually written by lawyers who as a group are not stupid but do want to be vague so you have to hire them to read their minds.
